Because of the small downtown area, we are limited to the number of businesses. At the left end (East). we have

Plain Peanuts and is owned/operated by Bobby & Jean Salter.  Their website may be viewed at:  Plain Peanuts.

The Trading Post is the next  business and is owned/operated by Philip & Ramona Kurland.  Their website may be viewed at:  The Trading Post.

Windham Castings Showroom follows.  Debbie Young, founder, of Windham Casting. In the same location is the Indigo Trading Company and is owned by Debbie Young and Craig Walters.

The Antique Mall and Plains Inn is the last business in the original "block" of businesses.  It was the brainchild of the Plains Better Hometown program headed by President & Mrs. Carter.  Their page may be seen at: The Antique Mall and Plains Inn

The Plains Bed & Breakfast Inn built in 1910 and is directly across the street from City Hall in the downtown area.  Visit their website at The Plains Bed & Breakfast Inn and is owned by Jill & Gene Stuckey.
